2000-04-25 GOP: Tax Cuts Will Ease Digital Divide
Rep. J.C. Watts Jr. (R-Oklahoma), the fourth most powerful House Republican and chairman of the House Republican Conference, said at a Monday meeting in Silicon Valley with high-tech leaders that the GOP is "committed to unleashing the resources of the free market" to solve the problem of the digital divide.
